Our Story

THE BIRTH AND GROWTH OF THE IGREJA SALVAÇÃO DE TODAS AS NAÇÕES – SOL DA JUSTIÇA

In 1998, at the time young Marcelino Mário Bento, decided to convert. In March 2002, God ordered him to leave his job (where he earned a good salary: 400 USD), to fulfill an especially important mission to which he was called. However, for two years God had been preparing him for this. After this time, that is, in 2004, God told him to open the Igreja Salvação de Todas as Nações – Sol da Justiça, (ISTN-SJ) whose name was chosen by God himself. It is important to say that he obeyed this order against his will, because he did not want to, claiming that he was not able to do so and even asked God to send someone else.
The first service was held on September 25, 2004, where there were ten people including the Apostle, who at the time was a simple servant who had just left the UCKG; and with him were also five servants of the Lord: Anjo, Panzo, Antônio, Sonho and Tozinho. The Church was located somewhere in a backyard, in the municipality of Viana, province of Luanda. In 2012 God ordered him to close the Church and go to the desert to pray; and starting with Kitsungui (in the province of Uíge) it passed through other provinces such as: Malanje, Lunda north and south, Moxico and Benguela. The people, however, awaited his return, eager for the reopening of the Church. After that time, five months, he opened the church again. In 2017 God ordered him to go to Monte do Cacuaco where he stayed for three years from 2017 to 2020; during that time he only went down on Sundays to hold services and went back up; This time he was not alone because God had already given him a helper with whom he married: Dona Sonia Bento. In 2020 the Church closed again; This time it was due to the state of emergency in our country, Angola, similar to what happened in other parts of the world due to Covid 19. During this time when the Church was physically closed, it gave way to the “virtual Church”, that is, groups were created on WhatsApp where the Apostle preached, feeding people spread across various parts of the world. There were twelve official groups made up of 240 each, which totaled almost 3,000 members. In addition to the 12, today there are more than 20 supporting groups. After the state of emergency ended, ISTN-SJ opened its doors again, thus returning to holding in-person services in 2021. That same year, in August, to be more precise, the first ISTN-SJ Temple was inaugurated, at Benfica- Kifica on Rua 149; because, in the old temple (rented) in Estalagem, there was no longer any condition to accommodate such a crowd that God had been bringing, even though two services were held a day. Still in 2021, the church continued to grow, reaching other countries such as: Brazil, Portugal, and Mozambique; and to this day, and is also found in the following countries: England, Belgium, Holland, Germany, France, South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe. Detail: The Apostle did not travel to these countries and did not even send anyone from Angola there, but miraculously the Church arrived in these countries and continues to spread in others.

Our Beliefs

HOW THE CHURCH STARTED IN THE UK

The Church began with a group on WhatsApp, created by Pastor Mário Isaac Marcos Bento, currently Bishop and leader of the United Kingdom, who contacted brothers in the United Kingdom who were already listening to the Apostle’s preachings through audios on WhatsApp, lives on Facebook and YouTube.

The physical church began with Dona Lucrécia Contreiras in her home in Leeds, where she gathered her sisters in her living room to watch the Apostle’s lives. After receiving the Apostle’s permission to open the Church, she searched hard for a space in the company of her friend Augusta Carvalho, having found a small space in Leeds where brother David Manuel, current Bishop Aux. of the UK leader came in dealing with the bureaucratic part of the lease contract for our first Church in the United Kingdom, inaugurated by Pr. Edson Ramos who was the previous leader of the UK.

Today the church has expanded, having its headquarters in Leeds, whose head is the Auxiliary Bishop. David Manuel.

Then we have in other cities such as: Manchester with Pr. Edson Ramos, in London with Pr. Edson Sabones and in Scotland s a virtual Church with r. Ilson Santos. Our current leader in the UK is Bishop Mário Marcos Bento.
